塔城华人基督教会開始于1969年家庭查经班，曾在 University Height Baptist Church, Piedmont Park Alliance Church,  Maranatha Baptist Center, Baptist Campus Ministry, First Baptist Church, and Parkway Baptist Church 聚會. 由于神的带领，1992年正式借用 Parkway Baptist Church 聚会，并命名为塔城华人基督教会. 2002年興建教堂。至今主日崇拜成人与小孩人数约有120人，会众约150人。塔城华人基督教会以「耶稣基督」为信仰盘石，在真道上謹守圣经，以神的爱彼此服事，以成全圣徒各尽其职，建立基督的身体，成为愛的教会。我们相信教会是神提供给人们的心灵之家：凡疲惫、忧伤、担重担者；寻求生命方向者，都可以在这里一起学习、一起关怀、一起成长。(路4:18,19)；教会没有围墙，人们可以在此感受到基督的爱(罗8:35-39)，被接纳并归属於基督所应许的公义、平安、喜乐国度 (罗14:17)。

In 1969, several Chinese Christians in Tallahassee started to meet as a group on every Friday evening in order to be able to grow spiritually stronger through bible study. This small bible study group had been meeting regularly for years at Prof. Eutiquio Young's home.

In December of 1981, a non-profit, non-denominational Tallahassee Chinese Christian Fellowship (TCCF) was formed. The purpose of this fellowship was to bring more people to Jesus Christ, to prepare christian to serve God, and to provide Chinese students and community  with assistance. The major activities were the Friday evening bible study and prayer meetings. The activities of this fellowship were coordinated by a group of christian co-workers. Since 1981 the fellowship has met at University Height Baptist Church, Piedmont Park Alliance Church,  Maranatha Baptist Center, Baptist Campus Ministry, First Baptist Church, and Parkway Baptist Church.

With the growing of Chinese Christians and friends, the vision of serving and worshiping together in a more familiar language as well as English on Sunday had been provided. Therefore, after several worship services at fellow Chinese Christians' home, the first Sunday worship service was held in the Piedmont Alliance Church on February 15, 1987.
